Dana Harari: Who am I?‎ A student who likes my paintings once told me: Dana, you should sit whole day and paint! Only ‎paint!‎ Another student, after reading the goodbye letter I wrote to him, asked me: Why are you not ‎a writer? ‎ And me? ‎ I know how to be only one thing: me.‎ I know how to be Dana.‎ It is what I am, it is who I am.‎ A bit of a painter, a bit of a writer, a bit of a poet. ‎ A bit of a teacher, a bit of an educator, a bit of a geologist, a bit of a cartographer. ‎ A bit of a nomad, a bit of a traveller, a bit of a baker, a bit of a cook. ‎ A bit local, a bit an immigrant.‎ And I love.‎ I love therefor I am.‎ Happy and sad, laughing and crying, angry and placate.‎ I love. ‎ מי אני?‏ אני יודעת להיות רק דבר אחד: אני. ‏ אני יודעת להיות דנה. ‏ זה מה שאני, זו מי שאני. ‏ קצת ציירת, סופרת, קצת משוררת. ‏ קצת מורה, קצת מחנכת, קצת גיאולוגית, קצת כרטוגרפית. ‏ קצת נוודת, קצת טיילת, קצת אופה, קצת מבשלת. ‏ קצת מקומית, קצת מהגרת. ‏ ואוהבת. הרבה אוהבת. ‏ שמחה ועצובה, צוחקת ובוכה, כועסת ומפייסת. ‏ אוהבת.‏
